Ingredients

Ice Cream Base
  • 4 cans Grapico soda 12 ounces each, chilled
  • 2 cans Sweetened condensed milk 14 ounces each

Equipment

  • Ice Cream Maker
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Scoop

Method

  1. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Slowly whisk in the Grapico soda, adding it a little at a time until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  3. Cover and chill the mixture for at least 2 hours for the best texture.
  4. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, about 20 minutes, or until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  5. Serve immediately for a soft texture, or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze until firmer before scooping.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, chill the base before churning. You can also try peach, strawberry, orange, or lemon-lime soda for fun variations. Stir in chopped candied pecans or other mix-ins after churning to keep their texture.
